This week JJ is in NY and there will be a lot of firsts! The next few weeks will show all the things we pushed through this weekend starting with JJ's first cold plunge!
Cold plunges, or cold water immersion, offer several benefits. First, they promote muscle recovery and reduce inflammation, aiding athletes and individuals with muscle soreness. Cold plunges can improve circulation and stimulate the immune system, boosting overall health. They also enhance mood and mental well-being by increasing endorphin levels and providing a natural stress relief. Regular cold plunges may improve sleep quality and help regulate body temperature. Additionally, they can enhance cardiovascular function, increase metabolism, and improve skin health. However, it's essential to consult a healthcare professional before incorporating cold plunges into your routine, especially if you have pre-existing health conditions.

In this episode we talk about how much income we were able to generate this month trading the wheel. The wheel strategy is a great options strategy to use in a sideways or down treading markets. By selling cash secured put you can buy shares at a price you like and get paid to do so along the way. After you buy those shares you can use them as collateral to sell covered calls. Flip flopping between selling calls and puts is call the wheel strategy and is a great way to add income to your portfolio. We will also talk about Brad getting to meet on of his hero's, his sons first trip to the ER and all the other things going on in our life at the moment.

If you are a long time listener of the podcast you will notice a new look to the podcast. We will discuss this at length in this weeks episode and the reasons why. We are forever grateful to the Average Money Brand and the community it has built, but we feel like we have more of ourselves to give. We were limiting the impact that our life experiences could have but pigeon holing ourselves to 1 topic. With this rebranding, we will be able to give the listener all of everything we have to offer, which includes personal finance. Feedback has shown us that the listeners appreciate and take value in our discussions about real estate, parenting, fitness, health, mindfulness, and sobriety. Although all these topics will not appear in every episode, we will now be able to have more open and honest conversations without ourselves and the listeners, and therefore bring more value.
In this episode we will talk about JJ's move from Missouri to Florida and what it's like to sell a house without an agent. We will also discuss JJ's month of sobriety and how that has changed his life and if he will continue to be sober moving forward past April. We will finish the episode talking about Brad's running injury and how that has impacted his life moving into summer vacation and his race schedule. This will lead into our rebranding and some in depth reasons why.
